I track the “math help” tag, so your stuff always pops up.  I have a mathematics background, but don’t work in the field now, so I enjoy dabbling with interesting questions.

I’ve jumped in on a few well-meaning but ill-informed “helpers” before, but I have to say that your answers are always rock solid!  Great blog.
