colour-my-world: Hi guys I am clearly not good at math and need help with this problem. This is the solution to the problem online at calcchat.com but I do not understand how the step I have the arrow pointing to even happened.  This is finding the derivative of f(x). Can anyone explain how that step happened? I would really appreciate the help.
